Today, among Audemars Piguet's numerous new product launches, the Offshore series is particularly noteworthy. Five new Offshore watches have been introduced – three Offshore Dive watches and two newly designed 43mm Offshore Chronographs.
First, the 42mm Royal Oak Offshore Dive

Following this, the brand's 43mm Offshore chronograph watch welcomes two new color options. Model 26420CD.OO.A029VE.01 uses the "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50" blue ceramic introduced last year, applied to the case, pushers, and crown, and paired with titanium screws, a case back, and crown guards. This

You see, compared to some of the brand's other models released today, these are undoubtedly more understated—simply blending old and new colors and materials cleverly. I find it delightful to inject some vibrancy into the Offshore dive watch collection, as I have a particular fondness for this expression and have always longed for a version with the vibrant color schemes of the past. This homage to that era is delightful, reminding us of Audemars Piguet's most playful side, and pairing these bright colors with a black dial does indeed balance the overall flamboyance to some extent. However, it's interesting that two strictly black dials replace two of the previous three—I would have preferred to see pink or turquoise versions with full-color dials, not just accents.

However, I'm pleased to see Audemars Piguet's new ceramic color scheme being applied to a wider range of products. In my opinion, it's more appealing than the brand's previous electric blue, and I hope that this watch, along with the new Royal Oak chronograph in the same ceramic, heralds more watches in the future using the same ceramic.
